Metamorphoses 2003
I had a terrific time under his leadership.  He filtered a warm, generous and disciplined energy into the School – vital, it seemed, and much appreciated by myself, my contemporaries and those that followed.  His wealth of knowledge taught me to appreciate the intellectual as well as the emotional and how important it is for an actor not to separate the two.
 Christopher Kelham, former student
Much of the School’s high standing is due not only to his skilful and imaginative approach to organisational and administrative matters but also to his intellectual and academic pre-eminence.   To achieve so much in a very short time is a remarkable achievement.
Prof Eric Salmon, writer and teacher
I have been immensely impressed by his high standard of leadership and the subsequent level of professionalism he has achieved for the school … the quality of education offered has increased immeasurably.
Richard Lumsden, Attached Course Monitor, National Council for Drama Training
It is important to realise how much the school has improved as a result of Gordon’s appointment … both staff and students can approach him … his management is exemplary … many of the staff have said how much their work has improved, as well as that of the students
